FCO and Niagara’s Greenhouse Growers applaud Ontario investment into Niagara irrigation

Flowers Canada (Ontario) Inc. (FCO) applauds the Ontario government’s plan to invest $135 million in water systems and irrigation infrastructure in the Niagara and Leamington regions. On Monday August 11, 2025, Minister Jones (Agriculture, Food and Agribusiness), Minister Surma (Infrastructure) and Associate Minister Oosterhoff (Energy-Intensive Industries) announced significant investments in infrastructure, with $41 million being directed to irrigation investment in Niagara.
