Ontario Soil & Crop Improvement Association to Hold Meetings With Growers on Cost Sharing Opportunities

Posted on September 19, 2013 By Flowers Canada Posted In Announcements

Growers are strongly encouraged to attend Cost Sharing meetings being held around the province to discuss opportunities for growers to obtain funding through the Environmental Farm Plan.

The Growing Forward 2 cost-share funding cap for a single farm business covering both Capacity Building activities and Project Implementation is $350,000 over the 5-year time frame of the program (April 1, 2013 to March 31, 2018).

Producers are invited to attend FREE (Fourth Edition) Workshops to learn more about best management practices, develop an action plan for their farm, learn more about cost-share funding opportunities in Vineland at the Vineland Research and Innovation Centre on September 24th and October 4th.

View a complete list of meetings here.

Growers are being asked to pre-register for these meetings at http://registration.wildapricot.org/
