Flowers Canada Growers is pleased to announce that the product Captiva Prime (Canola Oil, Garlic Oil, Capsaicin) has been approved for use on greenhouse and outdoor ornamental crops. Captiva Prime is effective in the suppression of twospotted spider mite (Tetranychus urticae) and thrips.

FCG would like to thank Gowan Canada for supporting the sector by registering effective tools for flower farmers to manage pests. FCG would also like to thank the Pesticide Regulatory Directorate for their effort to register this new tool.
