Recently the PMRA approved a request from a grower to have the plant growth regulator A-Rest (Ancymidol) included in the Grower Own Use import (GROU) program. For those unaware of GROU, it is a program, supported by Croplife and industry, that allows growers to import approved pesticides from the USA. The list of approved products are listed on the GROU website here:

The process import process is also described. Floriculture producers also requested inclusion of Bonzi (paclobutrazol) and Sumagic (Uniconazole) into GROU - and they were approved.
